Seçici RCCB’ler artık akımın ani kesicilere göre daha uzun süre akmasına izin verir. Herhangi bir kaçak durumunda, sadece kaçak akım tespit edilen bölgedeki RCCB devreyi keser ve arıza olmayan bölgelerde gereksiz enerji kesintisi yapılmaz. 230/400VAC – 50Hz sistemlerde kullanıma uygundur. Çoğu durumda ADP’den alt dağıtım panolarına giden yerleri korur.
